PATH Leader Training in Michigan
Personal Action Toward Health (PATH) is an interactive six week workshop that helps people learn to manage their long term health problems. There are two leaders that facilitate this program and you can be one of them!
Become A PATH Leader
- No teaching experience is necessary
- You must attend all training days to be certified
- You will lead workshops in your community
- There is no charge for the training but you must commit to lead one workshop in the next year
A 2020 CDSMP (PATH) Update Curriculum was released from SMRC.
MSU Extension is offering a free, online PATH Leader Training starting Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 1:00-3:30 pm ET. One of the goals of this training is to build the capacity of Spanish bilingual leaders in Michigan. We encourage you to extend the invitation to anyone interested in being trained in Chronic Disease PATH and Tomando de Su Salud. The training will be open to non-bilingual trainees if there is space available. We ask that you support this training by providing written materials to your leaders.
